This is the close-up picture of the lower deck that we are planning to build (DIY), the area is 10.5 m x 4.5 m, we have already bought the Merbau 140 x 19 mm timber - it is going to be a big challenge but we will give it a go!!! We have the slide-master stacking doors spanning 7 metres leading to both upper balcony & lower deck - these doors look heavy but they slide very easily and swiftly and they are so strong and fantastic (they cost a fortune though!)

Braveheart, it is so great to see that you are in your home and the plans that you have for your decking. I look forward to seeing the finished product. I am also building with Ashford but my home is not even at lock up stage after a year.This is my blog spot that I have just started.
